is there a way to add SMS functionality i.e. SMS Text groups of people with in the app? Do you have the ability to do the same with Email i.e. email groups of people defined in the app?

@magnus - with some programming, yes this is possible. There is an App Pack for a completely different industry (Real Estate Investment) that includes this type of functionality you mentioned for SMS and Email: Real Estate Investment Pack You could try installing the Real Estate Investment pack (+ Podio Workflow Automation flows) in your own separate workspace to see how it works and model the concepts/code for your own environment. Note that the Real Estate Investment App Pack requires Podio Premium.
